In this New York Times Op-Ed piece, youth from NYC write poems to Barack Obama. Essentially, this is a poetry slam captured in video. It’s gratifying, as well, to listen to the youth as they speak so strongly and so boldly in their interviews. This is what we want as teachers. Check it out.
